As occupational therapists, we create catered planned interventions and treatment sessions for your child's needs. Our sessions at Inside Out are all child-led meaning, we encourage the child to make decisions, problem-solve, come up with ideas, plan and organize solutions, and learn while doing so! Because our sessions are child-led, they are all meaningful, motivating, and purposeful to your child.

Nature-Based Sensory Social Class
Inside Out Kid's inclusive Nature-Based Social Classes are led by two bilingual licensed Occupational Therapists. Together we create a 75-minute long adventure for your kids to enjoy throughout nature! During this time the children are able to unplug, unwind, and just be kids! Not only are we allowing them to explore and learn new ways to use their bodies, but by being trained and licensed therapists our groups also address the development of motor skills, attention, social skills, and sensory processing.
Occupational Therapy Services
Our therapy sessions are one on one and completely catered to your child's developmental needs. Traditional sessions can be held at home, daycare, or school. We are also partnering with the Miami Children's Museum to be able to provide services at the museum if preferred. For nontraditional sessions, we provide individualized nature-based sessions at AD Barnes Park or Tropical Park. Research has shown that engaging with nature has been proven to provide many benefits that promote mental and physical health.
At Inside Out Kids Therapy, we integrate the developmental skills required to complete a task, along with social-emotional regulation, and sensory processing strategies to achieve a child’s best potential self. We nurture the inside to bring a child’s full potential out!
Nature-Based Social Class
As occupational therapists, we shape the natural environment to fit your child’s needs! We encourage kids to get out of their comfort zones and play with nature differently! Our clinical reasoning allows us to give just the right amount of challenge to each kid so as to not overwhelm them, but still push them to develop their skills! Doing that takes the right timing, the right amount of prompting, and cueing while encouraging the whole way through.
